Tap-in Fee is $3,400.

Sewage disposal rate is $28.00 for the first 800 gallons, and $8.00 for each additional 800 gallons.  The billing cycle is monthly, and payments should be made out to Elizabeth Borough Municipal Authority, P.O. Box 919, Bloomsburg, PA  17815.  For your convenience, a payment lock-box is located inside of the Borough building at 121 N. 2nd Avenue.


Trash Collection

Refuse fees: Collection service by  Noble Environmental, (724) 929-7694 ext. 2  Trash is not permitted to be placed at the curb for collection more then 24 hours in advance. All items must be secured in bags or bundled.  Trash is picked up on Friday mornings early.

NOTICE TO LANDLORD’S AND PROPERTY OWNERS: You are responsible for the refuse fees for all properties owned by you. Each property and or apartment is charged a refuse collection fee weather it is currently occupied or not.


Street Sweeping

2025 Street Sweeper Schedule

The Street Sweeper will not sweep any streets that are in poor shape so they do not deteriorate any further.

On the dates listed, no parking is permitted between 5am and 9am on the following streets.
2nd Avenue from Lower Mill to Center Avenue.  3rd Avenue from Center Avenue to Market Street.


Public Transportation

Port Authority Transit runs the Elizabeth Flyer/Y46 bus from the Rite Aid bus shelter to downtown Pittsburgh with stops along route 51.


Parking

Parking meter info:

Meters enforced from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm.

Fines:
$5 for expired meters
$25 for parking where prohibited: at a yellow line, parking against traffic, too far from curb, or within 20ft of intersection
$100 for parking in handicap space

Parking passes can be purchased at the Borough Building for $8/month or $96/year.
